Two sisters, Annette and Dorothy, growing up on a small dry land farm in northern Colorado, took different paths in life, only to share making art together in in later years.
The lawyer sister learned from the artist sister about composition and the importance of value. As the lawyer sister grew in her artistic practice, the sisters realized that even though they focused on different media, their landscape depictions of the outdoors were strikingly similar. This catalog of their first joint exhibit shows off just how similar their artistic sensibilities are.
